LPL's Modified Summer Reading Schedule for 2021
Due to Covid-19, we will be unable to hold our usual summer reading programs in June and July but Miss Kathryn has come up with some creative ways to keep your children engaged over the summer and involved in Library activities.

LPL's In-Home Story and Crafts
Beginning Monday, June 1st, there will be books and coordinating crafts that can be picked up at the library.
Every Monday, a new set of books and crafts will be available, which will be on a first come first serve basis.

Summer LEGO Club
Since we cannot have large groups participating in our LEGO Club, we will hold LEGO’s at appointed times each Thursday during June and July.
Only one family will be allowed during each time slot, and can stay for one hour to complete their projects.
Times will be:
10-11 a.m.
12-1 p.m.
2-3 p.m.
4-5 p.m.
For your protection, we will sanitize between each group.
You must call ahead of time to reserve a time slot.

LPL's Summer Reading Challenge
Beginning Monday, June 1st, there will be reading records available to be picked up at the LPL for any child whom would like to participate in the our Summer Reading Challenge. The child in each age group that reads the most books between Monday, June 1st and Thursday, July 30th, will receive a prize.
The age groups are:
3 to 5
6 to 9
10 to 12.
Only books will be counted if they are checked out from the LPL.
All records much be handed in by Thursday, July 30th, and the winners in each age group will be announced on Friday, July 31st
