Cherokee Public Library, serving Northwest Colbert County with an area of over 5,000 residents, has a collection of over 14,000 books, audio books, and DVD's for adults and children to enjoy. We also have 4 children's tablets for in-library use and patron computers with high speed DSL internet access for use by the general public as well as wi-fi connection.

SUMMER READING PROGRAM 2026
Cherokee Public Library will be hosting a Summer Reading Program for all ages in June. Programs will take place on Saturdays in June from 10:30-11:30 AM, and the library will be open from 10 AM-12 PM. The reading program runs from June 1st through June 30th. Reading logs must be returned by closing on June 30th in order to be counted. Registration for our program is now open! You can sign up in the library or by clicking one of the links below.
