The primary goal of the Friends of the Killen Library group is to provide supplemental financial resources to the library which are used primarily for matching grant money and purchasing new books and equipment.
The BOOKSTORE
The primary source of funding for the Friends group is the bookstore located next door to the library. The bookstore offers used books and magazines for sale at rock-bottom prices. It is staffed by volunteers. Donations of books and magazines are always needed on an ongoing basis to keep the inventory replenished and updated. These donations can be left at the library.

No dues are charged, we just want a little time of willing and eager volunteers. We meet on the second Tuesday of every February, May, August and November at 3:30 p.m. at the Friends of the Killen Library Bookstore.
